Free Infinity Scarf Pattern Mini Bean Stitch

Fiona Field • Jul 31, 2020
This free crochet pattern features the the Mini Bean stitch (also known as Elizabeth Stitch) so you can create your very own Beautiful Beans Infinity Scarf. The mini bean stitch creates a complex looking, textured fabric but is so simple to crochet.

Mini Bean Stitch (Elizabeth Stitch)

So many people love a textured fabric, but the stitches tend to use additional yarn to create the texture. This isn't the case with the mini bean stitch. Like the puff stitch, you yarn over into the same stitch again to create a stitch that stands out. The number of times you yarn over is significantly less than the puff stitch so uses significantly less yarn! When this stitch is worked in rows, the stitches appear to be travelling in different directions to add even more interest!
