Linen Stitch in the Round Granny Square | Free Crochet Pattern
The linen stitch is a great introduction to working into chain spaces and uses only the US single crochet and chain 1 to create the most wonderful texture.
This stitch works up quickly compared to working rows of single crochets, as you are only working in to every other stitch followed by a chain 1.
The speed of this stitch is why you will see it feature in crochet blanket patterns, scarves and other large crochet patterns.
My own design, the Linen Stitch Spiked Scarf, combines the simplicity of the linen stitch with my much loved spike stitch to create a stunning colour change.
